Research and knowledge management is at the heart of the African Export-Import’s Bank mission of becoming a Centre of Excellence in African Trade matters. In a dynamic operating environment, the Bank values the relevance of cutting-edge applied research covering trade, trade policy, economic development, and market access in its strategic direction and operations, while ensuring that its knowledge products are appropriately packaged and disseminated through several media including electronic, and social to the broad constituents of the Bank’s stakeholders. The Research and International Cooperation (RICO) Department embodies four interrelated functions including Research and Statistics, International Cooperation, Trade Policy and Market Access, Knowledge and Records Management – housing the Library and Knowledge Centre.
