Cairo, 17 June 2013 – The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) will hold business development roadshow in Conakry from 25 to 26 June to create awareness of its financing products among the Guinean business community, the Bank has announced in Cairo.

The roadshow, which will take place at the NOVOTEL Grand Hotel de l’Indépendance, Conakry, will be opened by Mr. Kerfalla Yansané, State Minister of Economy of and Finance of Guinea, and will feature a workshop on “Promoting Economic Development Through Trade” on June 25, 2013. The workshop will be followed on 25 and 26 June by one-on-one business meetings with the attending business people.

“This road show will enable officials of the Bank to meet with the business community and other stakeholders involved in trade and trade-related project activities in Guinea to explore ways of supporting them with Afreximbank’s many financing products,” said Jean-Louis Ekra, President of the Bank. “Our goal is to reach Guinea’s financial institutions, corporate entities in the telecommunications, mining, energy, manufacturing, distribution, agriculture and agro–processing sectors, import and export agencies, leasing companies, trade and project finance originators and government agencies, among others,” added the President.
